April 3, 2012 | CTI Announces Major Enhancement to 2500 Series® HMI Product Line
Our 2500-VP15 HMI Panels now include Windows® 7 as the underlying operating system, giving the system important new capabilities compared to the previous Windows® CE products. 2500-VP15 HMI panels are designed to allow easy connection and configuration of HMI applications on CTI 2500 Series® and Simatic® 505 Processors using Ethernet.

The 2572 Ethernet TCP/IP Adapter is being matured due to component obsolescence. The functions of this product have been replicated on our 2572-A Ethernet TCP/IP Adapter, and on the upcoming 2500P-ECC1 Ethernet Communications Coprocessor to be introduced later this year.
We will mature the 2572 effective August 1, 2012. We will accept and fill last-time-buy orders until that date. After August 1, 2012, orders will be accepted only subject to stock on-hand. We will continue to support and provide repairs for 2572 until August 1, 2019.
